Abstract
Competency model is a list of competencies obtained by observing satisfactory performance or expected performance of employees for a specific job. In other words, competency models include the most important competencies that really affect performance. The purpose of developing a competency model in any organization is to provide a model for integrating the performance of the human resources system. Competencies lead to productivity and reduction of organization's costs, so the appointment of competent people will be one of the most important and sensitive issues in the work process of any organization. Therefore, the current research seeks to design the competence model of legal inspectors. Its research method is of a qualitative type, first, the literature and background of the research were examined with the technique of content analysis, and the dimensions, components, and indicators were calculated; In the following, 7 experts in this field have been selected as a sample and the final research model has been designed with thematic analysis technique. The results of the research show that the dimensions and components of the competence model of legal inspectors include technical knowledge (with components of occupational knowledge and managerial/organizational knowledge), behavioral (with components of interpersonal skills and individual skills) and cognitive (with components design/analytical skills and perceptive skills).
